Gestair Airline Training cooperates in the organization of the first official master programme of Flight Checks and Airplane Certification created by the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros Aeronáuticos (ETSIA) and the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), which counts on the collaboration of the Spanish Air Force and the National Institute for Aerospace Technology.
This official 1 year master programme is limited 15 students and costs 30,000 Euros, consisting of 600 hours of lectures at the ETSIA and 30 flight hours that will be developed at Gestair Flying Academy, which currently counts on a fleet of 44 airplanes equipped with the latest aeronautics technology and the most modern flight simulators.
With this initiative, Gestair consolidates its leadership in the sector of aeronautical training and reinforces its connections with excellent aeronautical organizations also cooperating in this master programme, such as EADS-CASA and EADS-Defence.

Aviation Training is the Gestair Group's business unit specialized in training. Leader in his sector in the Iberian Peninsula and a reference in Europe, the business unit counts on two divisions designated to offer aeronautical training: Gestair Flying Academy Spain and Gestair Flying Academy Portugal, schools specialized in initial pilot training to obtain the Air Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL), and Gestair Airline Training, center with TRTO license specialized in post-graduate training for airline professionals like pilots or Maintenance personnel (TMA´s).
