Private Aviation, the unit of Gestair Group specialized in executive aviation and leader in the Iberian Peninsula, incorporates to its fleet the first Very Light Jet (VLJ) in Spain, being the first company of Europe that will operate this aircraft.

The new VLJ is the model Cessna Citation Mustang, of which until now only 40 units have been delivered worldwide. So far, this type of aircraft has only been destined to individuals but, through Gestair Private Aviation, the Gestair Group will operate it, thus making the advantages of executive aviation accessible, due to its reduced costs, to a new niche of the market, for example for executives of small and medium sized companies.

The producer of the new aircraft is the aircraft manufacturer Cessna, a company with  recognized prestige in the sector, with the Cessna Citation Mustang belonging to the highest range of the VLJ. The airraft, with more than two and a half hours average autonomy, has capacity for four passengers plus crew - instead of the common VLJ configuration of two-three seats - and has been designed to provide a greater interior room and comfort to the passenger.

Selected materials and a luxurious finish contribute to the passenger's well-being, whilst the elaborate design a spacious interior room with specific luggage compartments, until now not very common due to the reduced size of this type of airaft. Furthermore, the Cessna Citation Mustang is able to land on short landing strips which allows the aircraft and its passengers to get closer to their destination.

With this initiative, Gestair Private Aviation persues its strategy of developing new business opportunities, making the product executive aviation accesible for a new segment of clients. Gestair is also amplifying its fleet currently composed by 30 aircraft, which is regarded as one of greatest and versatile in the European market, especially in the mid- to long-range routes.
