Gestair Flying Academy, ab-initio pilot training school of the Gestair group and ranked among the top five schools in Europe, held its traditional graduation ceremony at its bases in Spain and Portugal.

As every year, the graduation ceremony coincides with the celebration of the Saint of Aviation. Thus, the act was held in Spain on 10th December in the facilities of Gestair Flying Academy at Cuatro Vientos, Madrid. On this occasion, 57 pilots received their "wings" and diplomas for successfully completing their ATPL (Integrated Airline Transport Pilot Licence) course.

Meanwhile in Portugal, the day of the Saint of Aviation was held on 8th December at the facilities owned by the company in Cascais, Lisbon. In this act, in which wings and diplomas were handed to a total of 135 students, there was also an acrobatic flight show highly praised  by local media.

Gestair Flying Academy

Gestair Flying Academy is a division of Gestair Group's Aviation Training business unit, specializing in the initial pilot training in the Iberian Peninsula, leader and reference in Europe. Currently it has 450 active students of which 180 have registered this year.

In 2009, this school with bases in Spain, Portugal and Italy and the most advanced training technology, has completed around 29,000 flight hours.
