Gestair Aviation Training, Gestair Group's business unit specialized in pilot training and leader in the Iberian Peninsula, now offers the ATPL course with significant improvements. Gestair Flying Academy, a specialist in the ab-initio training of pilots, thus aims to adapt the course even further to the needs of its students, while also improving their competitiveness in the market.
The ATPL course, taught in Spanish and English at the facilities Gestair Flying Academy owns at Cuatro Vientos Airport (Madrid) increasing the flight hours to 200h with a new competitive price. In particular, the flight hours multi-engine (ME) were increased by 40% regarding the promotion in September/October 2009, from 15 hours to 25 hours, with the rest of the additional flight hours on Cessna 172. In addition, we have incorporated a specific course of preparation for selection processes and interviews with airlines for further increase the employability of our students. Finally note that, even with all this and ensuring the best training the student fails to get a job as a pilot, Gestair Flying Academy will provide the renewal of the IR-ME rating for free. One of the main objectives of the Aviation Training business unit is to focus on the internationalization of the pilot schools. Therefore, about 20% of the teaching staff and instructors of the ATPL course come from countries of the European Union.
