Gestair Aviation Training, Gestair Group's business unit specialized in pilot training and leader in the Iberian Peninsula, has launched a scholarship programme for flight instructors at its bases in Madrid and Cascais.

The "Flight Instructor Scholarship" is accessible to all students who have completed their ATPL course at Gestair Flying Academy after 1st January 2010, and as part of the top three of their class.

To these three outstanding students will be offered the opportunity to enroll in the flight instructor course, the first with a grant of 100% of the course price, the second with 50% off, and the third with a 25% discount.

This initiative adds to the continuous improvement measures in the training of students at Gestair Flying Academy. This also includes the recent increase from 150 to up to 200 flight hours in the ATPL course that teaches Gestair Flying Academy at its base in Madrid.

Gestair Flying Academy is a division of Gestair Group's Aviation Training business unit, specializing in the initial pilot training in the Iberian Peninsula, leader and reference in Europe. Currently it has 450 active students of which 180 have registered in 2009.

In 2009, the school with bases in Spain, Portugal and Italy and the most advanced training technology, has completed around 29,000 flight hours.
