New Offices and Installations in Iberia’s Hangar 3 :  As from the month of April and following an agreement with Iberia, the offices of Gestair’s Private Aviation Maintenance Division are located in Hangar 3 in Barajas.
The new installations allow the various maintenance departments that were previously located in several sites to now be together in the same place. This enables significantly improved coordination of these departments which in the long run means improved customer service.

EGPWS Installation : During the months of January and February we carried out the installation of the Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning System (EGPWS) in a Falcon 20 from the GESTAIR PRIVATE JETS fleet. The design of the installation was performed by a sub-contractor and the management, setting up, testing and certification by the Maintenance Division of Gestair Private Aviation.
This, as well as the installation of the TCAS system in another plane from the fleet in the second half of 2006, shows our capacity to modify equipment and aviation systems and allows us to ensure that the planes in our fleet are always up-to-date to the latest safety measures required by the authorities. For Gestair Maintenance, innovation in our customers’ maintenance, safety and reliability programmes is of prime concern.
