Aeronautical Management + Airline Pilot

New qualifications that offer students in-depth specialised knowledge on corporate management within the field of aeronautics as well as the best theoretical and practical training in order to obtain the necessary licences to pilot commercial aircraft. Designed as a way of helping students access the labour market, the course prepares them to take on management and responsibility positions within airline companies.
In order to provide training of the highest quality in all fields included these studies, Gestair Flying Academy and Camilo José Cela University, have reached an agreement for the joint development and teaching of Aeronautical Management + Airline Pilot qualifications.
The qualifications comply with current legislation on own Qualifications and those required by the JAA to obtain the Airline Transport Pilot Licence through the theoretical-practical programme developed by American Gestair Flying Academy and imparted under its authorisation as FTO (Flight Training Organisation) E-003 granted by the JAA.

Syllabus

The studies required to obtain this degree cover four academic years and the qualifications obtained are:
  • Higher Aeronautical Management Degree
  • Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL)
  • Instrument Rating (IR)
  • Single-engine & multi-engine ratings (SE & ME)
  • Airline Transport Theory
  • Multi-Crew Co-operation course certificate (MCC)

Entrance Process

You must have passed your secondary education or a Higher Grade Educational Cycle and passed the specific entrance exams to the UCJC, although no specific entrance marks are required. Furthermore, all candidates will have to pass the Class 1 Medical Examination.
All tests are performed by psychologists and psycho-pedagogues of the Camilo José Cela University Admission Department.
