Flight Instructor

This course is intended for candidates looking to expand their professional opportunities after obtaining their license by adding a Flight Instructor rating

 

In order to enrol in the course, candidates need to comply with the following entry requirements:

  • Hold a current JAA PPL, CPL or ATPL
  • Have completed 200 flight hours, of which 100 as PIC (CPL and ATPL) or 150 as PIC (PPL)
  • Have completed a CPL theory course  (in case of holder PPL)
  • Have completed at least 30 hours on single engine piston aircraft, of which 5 in the last 6 months prior to the entry test
  • Have completed at least 10 hours of IFR, of which a maximum of 5 hours in FNPT II or full-flight simulator
  • Have completed at least 20 hours of cross-country flight
  • Hold a valid JAA Class I medical certificate
  • Pass the entry flight test
