Gestair Aviation wins again the tender for the ground support for the operation of the flights of the Cartographic and Geological Institute of Catalonia.

Gestair Aviation has been awarded again the tender for the provision of ground support services for the operation of flights of the Cartographic and Geological Institute of Catalonia (ICGC) until 2024.

The company will be in charge of the previous preparation of the aircraft and crews at the beginning of each flight, as well as their reception once the flights have finished, guaranteeing this service 365 days a year at ICGC's main base located at El Prat Airport in Barcelona.

In addition, other tasks will be performed, such as:

• The transfer of aircraft and crews on departure and arrival at the hangar providing service.
• Coordination with fuel suppliers
• Annotation of data in flight books and engine parameters
• Support in mounting and sensor movements

Gestair Aviation's Line Maintenance area, with its main base in Madrid and Barcelona airports and presence in the main airports of Spain, is formed by a team of professionals specialized in aeronautical maintenance who are in charge of performing, among others, scheduled line maintenance, corrective maintenance, ramp services and AOG to have the aircraft ready before and after each flight.
