The PBN operation specification has been granted to Gestair by the Spanish Aviation Safety and Security Agency (AESA), which is a requirement for some destinations such as Nice, Hong Kong and Singapore, among others.
As part of the application process, Gestair had to make sure that all of its aircraft complied with PBN operations and that appropriate procedures, documentation and training were in place.
PBN Operation Specification allows us to use the efficiency of airspace through:
Thus, this specification improves the access to runways and allows for some lower operation minimums in those airports limited by land and air space.
PBN operations are the international point of reference for the whole future of air navigation and aid and improve safety, capacity, efficiency, access and environmental impact of the air space of an aircraft. The Gestair float of aircraft with PBN capacity offers more opportunities to increase the operative efficiency and a better use of many runway configurations of airports, as well as a greater airport capacity.
This approval is added to the others that Gestair already has: Long-haul Operations, MNPS, etc.
