Last October the Spanish Aviation Safety Agency (AESA) awarded the ES.CAMO.003 Certificate of Approval to Gestair Aviation's Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization (CAMO).
The implementation of the SMS provides Gestair Aviation with a systematic approach to manage the safety of all airworthiness processes. It therefore enables the company to effectively manage its activities and resources, continuously monitoring its safety performance to achieve the highest safety standards. With this approval, Gestair Aviation is once again at the forefront of safety standards.
Gestair Aviation CAMO incorporates in the scope of work of this new approval the following aircraft types: Beechcraft 300 Series, Bombardier BD-100-1A10, Cessna 525/525A, Cessna 525C, Cessna 560 Series, Cessna 680, Cessna 680A, Dassault 900 Series, Dassault Falcon 2000, Dassault Falcon 2000EX, Gulfstream 200, Gulfstream GV, Gulfstream GVI Series, Gulfstream GV-SP, Hawker 900XP, Hawker Beechcraft 400 Series, Learjet 60 and Piaggio P. 180 Avanti II, demonstrating, in addition, an enormous technical solvency, knowing how to adapt to an extremely versatile fleet.
To obtain it, the company has successfully completed the regulatory transition to the new Part-CAMO (Regulation (EU) No. 1321/2014) in the short period of one year, locating itself among the first Spanish organizations to obtain this approval.
